Stellarworld School, Andheri opens a world of opportunities for learners by providing them with a well-rounded, learner-centred, and transformational education that prepares them for life.

Our Philosophy

Education should prepare learners beyond academics. After 15 years of schooling, learners should not just be textbook literate but also be literate in world matters, literate about empathy and compassion, literate about environmental issues and behaviour that can bring change, and literate in everyday skills such as accounts, taxes, law, sports, arts and nutritional wisdom. Stellarworld School, Andheri exists to develop Life Literate Learners.

Our Campuses

Our 3 campuses are strategically set in Bandra, Andheri and Goregaon to serve the community of discerning and evolved parents living in the western part of Mumbai. Our state of the art IoT enabled campuses provide an unparalleled learning environment with excellent internal air quality, all-weather playgrounds, biophilic interiors and collaborative classrooms. Each one of them has worked in multiple countries and helped learners from diverse communities. Their dynamic and diverse experiences will help build an environment that fosters learning and develop life literate learners.

Dr. Vladimir D. Kuskovski

Consulting Group Director, IB Schools

Dr. Vladimir D. Kuskovski has led both public and independent schools in Switzerland, Germany and India in the last 15 years. Currently, he is the Head of EF Academy New York. He also serves as a visiting adjunct professor in the Masters of International Administration program at Endicott College. He is an active promoter of international education as he has committed his professional life to develop a global perspective in all the schools in which he has worked. Dr. Vladimir holds bachelor’s degrees in both linguistics and education from the Minsk State Linguistic University and a master’s degree from Manchester University in the UK.

Oliver Allinson

Head of School, Stellarworld School, Bandra

Oliver Allinson is from the United Kingdom, where he began his teaching journey. In 2014, he moved to Shanghai, China, to join an international school, marking the start of an 11-year tenure in the international education sector. During this time, he had the opportunity to lead a large international school and gained experience working with the English National, IB, and Cambridge curricula. He is deeply committed to creating a vibrant learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a sense of global citizenship.

Martyn Shadbolt

Head of School, Stellar Andheri

Mr Martyn Shadbolt comes from the UK and has worked in Primary education for over 30 years in Singapore, China, Qatar, the UAE and Cambodia. He has been a class teacher, coordinator and Head of Primary at six different IB schools. Martyn has a Bachelor of Education from Exeter University and recently completed a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Bath University. He is passionate about a holistic approach to education where students are academically, socially and emotionally supported to achieve their maximum potential.

Kim Allinson

Head of School, Stellarworld School, Goregaon

Kim Allinson brings over 26 years of experience as an educator and leader, both in the UK and internationally. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to inspiring a love for learning and shaping globally minded students. Her professional journey has spanned diverse educational settings, where she has consistently championed inclusive, student-focused approaches that support academic, social, and emotional growth.

Passionate about nurturing compassionate, inquisitive, and culturally aware individuals, she aims to prepare children for success in an increasingly interconnected world. She strongly believes that collaboration, innovation, empathy, and kindness are the cornerstones of vibrant school communities where every child feels valued and empowered to achieve their fullest potential.

Jill Shadbolt

PYP Coordinator

Mrs Jill Shadbolt comes with 30 years of experience with the IB Primary Years Programme. She has held numerous leadership roles in international schools in six different countries, principally as a PYP coordinator and the Head of Curriculum. Jill holds a BA (Hons) from the UK and a Masters’s degree in International Education. She regularly trains teachers and works as a school team leader on PYP authorisation and evaluation visits with IB schools around the world. Jill also uses her extensive experience to support schools as a PYP consultant in their teaching and learning journey.

Mr. Amrishbhai Patel

President, Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal & Chancellor, NMIMS

Mr. Amrishbhai Patel is one of the tallest education leaders in India. He is the President of SVKM & Chancellor of SVKM’s NMIMS University. SVKM owns & operates several iconic educational institutions in Mumbai like Mithibai College, Narsee Monjee College, and SVKM’s NMIMS University among many others. His work in water conservation has set an example for the country to follow in his footsteps. Mr. Amrishbhai Patel’s emphasis has always been on practical aspects in the field of education such as research, employability, skill development, and all-round development.

Mr. Karan Johar

Producer, Director, Model, & TV host

Mr. Karan Johar is one of India’s most prolific Indian filmmakers. His name is synonymous with prestige, elegance, versatility and success. Mr. Johar’s body of work represents a fresh and modern outlook to Indian commercial cinema, right from his very first film – i.e. the landmark Kuch Kuch Hota Hai – followed by critically and commercially acclaimed blockbusters like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, My Name Is Khan, Student of the Year, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In addition to personal success and accomplishment, Mr. Johar has also been a teacher and mentor to many successful filmmakers in India who have flourished under his guidance and support as a producer.

Dr. Beheruz N Sethna

President Emeritus and Regents' Professor at The University of West Georgia, USA

Dr. Sethna is the first person of Indian origin ever to become president of an American university, the University of West Georgia. During his 19-year tenure as President, he also did two interim assignments as Senior and then Executive Vice Chancellor of the entire state system, during which he had functional responsibility for approximately 260,000 students and 10,0000 faculty members in all the 35 public institutions of the state. After leaving the presidency, he continued at UWG as a professor of business administration. He has won recognition in instructional innovation in nationwide competitions, among others, and has been personally honoured by Universities and University Presidents in China, Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, and countries in Europe. He has been named among the Great Immigrants to the USA. He will bring his immense experience to strengthen the learner-centric curriculum at Stellar.

Dr. Sunil Bhoolabhai

Renowned Cosmetic Dentist

Dr. Bhoolabhai is an Examiner on the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry and an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. His work in medical healthcare has been profound and he has been a role model for the medical fraternity for many years and will inspire students in the areas of healthcare.

Dr. Pratima Sonni

Physiotherapist, Trainer, Professional Athlete

Dr. Sonni is a renowned physiotherapist, fitness trainer and national master-level gold medalist sprinter. She is an Indian and Australian national board-certified rehab specialist and has co-authored books & news articles on fitness and health. She will bring her limitless experience to strengthen the health & fitness curriculum at Stellar.

Mr. Suraj Bajaj

Founder & CEO - Collegepond

Suraj Bajaj has spent a significant part of his life in the US. Having completed his undergraduate dual degree from the University of Pennsylvania, i.e., Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School of Business and Bachelor of Arts from College of Arts and Sciences, and his MBA from Columbia Business School, Suraj has spent 10 years working at leading investment banks and Big 4 Accounting firms where in addition to his work responsibilities, he was involved in recruiting new graduates as well as lateral hires. In 2003, he quit his corporate job to follow his passion for helping people with their careers. At Stellar, he will bring his years of experience and expertise to guide students to plan their careers and reach new heights in life.

Mr. Christian Mouchbahani

Managing Partner at M Capital Group

Mr. Christian Mouchbahani, Managing Partner at M Capital Group, is a recognized reference in the world of merchant banking, private equity, investment banking and asset management, having held several senior regional and international positions, and board roles in the US, Europe and the Middle East with institutions like Jefferies, Paribas, BNP Paribas, Morgan, Dubai Bank and TNI. He is a member of the President’s Global Council of New York University and a member of the MENA Advisory Board of City, University of London. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Economics from New York University.

Dr. Neeraj Mandhana

Education Counselor & Author

Dr. Mandhana is the first Indian counsellor to attend the prestigious Harvard Summer Institute on College Admissions. He is also a proud alumnus of UCLA and the University of Cambridge. For the last many years, he has been helping students to discover their true nature through sophisticated personality, interest and natural talent tests. At Stellar, he will help in creating the counselling program to help students with their education, career and life purpose.

Dr. Ali Irani

Ex Physio Indian Cricket Team, HOD Physiotherapy Nanavati Hospital

Dr. Irani is a well-known name in the field of physiotherapy and sports medicine. In the last 3 decades, Dr Irani has contributed immensely towards the science of physiotherapy and towards the well-being of people. At Stellar, he will bring his decades of experience and passion for physiotherapy to strengthen the physical education program and the sportsman spirit in our students.

Mr. Abdul Chohan

VP of Learning at Showbie Inc, Learning Technology Expert

Mr. Chohan is an award-winning learning technology consultant. He is a former Principal and the Co-founder of a free school in the UK. Currently he is the Vice President of learning at Showbie Inc. Over the past 17 years, he has led, developed and successfully implemented and supported digital learning strategies in various organisations in the UK and beyond. He is known for his pioneering work on mobile-based learning. At Stellar, he will oversee the implementation of learning technology for students and teachers to create a positive impact on learning outcomes.

Mr. Jesus Lall

Mr. Lall is an acknowledged leader in the education fraternity. He is best known for his pioneering transformative ideas in education (concepts like day-boarding & iPads in classrooms), his outstanding commitment to public policy, his exemplary dedication to charities like the Terry Fox Foundation, and his stewardship of a community of 40,000+ current annual students and 4,000+ employees of Universal Education.
