Annette Austin
Annette brings with her 20 years of experience in international education. Over the past    14 years, Annette has held leadership positions in international schools in South Africa, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Germany. She has served in leadership positions as the curriculum coordinator and deputy principal at the Bavarian International School, Germany, and at Helderberg International School in Cape Town, South Africa, where she was the curriculum coordinator and later served as Head of School. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Primary education, Honour’s degree in Special Education, and a  certification in school leadership from Harvard Business School and the Principal’s Training Centre. Annette is also an active Team Leader and Consultant for the International Baccalaureate Organisation. She believes that student’s character, social-emotional skills and academic competencies define school excellence. Her belief in preparing learners for world citizenship, global awareness and intercultural understanding enable students to lead society rather than follow.
